50% funding for training costs

Training Interventions have successfully become an approved registered training provider with the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (The LEP). The LEP skills service supports small and medium-sized businesses based in the Leeds City Region with funding for training. Eligible businesses could receive grants of between £500 and £50,000 support with up to 50% funding for training costs. To be eligible for skills funding businesses must:

  • be based in the Leeds City Region (Barnsley, Bradford, Calderdale, Craven, Harrogate, Kirklees, Leeds, Selby, Wakefield and York)
  • employ fewer than 250 people and have an annual turnover not exceeding £50 million
  • be able to contribute at least 50% of the cost of the training
  • be in a priority sector (creative and digital, finance and business, hospitality and tourism, low carbon and construction, manufacturing and engineering, transport and logistics and medical technology).
